Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie
  • In a mixing bowl beat eggs, sugar, corn syrup and vanilla.
  • Add butter and milk well.
  • Stir in pecans and chocolate chips.
  • Pour into pie shell.
  • Bake at 350 F “180 C” (gas mark 4) for 50-55 minutes or until set.
  • Top with ice cream if desired.

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup (285 ml) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (285 ml) light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (143 ml) butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 cup (285 ml) pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup (143 ml) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 unbaked pastry shell
  • vanilla ice cream (optional)
